I am thinking of buying one of them but i dont know which one to get. I am used to the plastation paddles. I know Xbox has Halo which is a plus for that. But I also want to use it as a computor in my bedroom. So which ever one is better at online. Just give me your reasons why you like one of them.
The console will not break down easily and can take just about anything you throw at it. It's your anything and everything you want it to be! Games, multimedia, PC capabilities, free online gaming, Internet browser, you can store multimedia on your HDD that you download off the Internet. Unlimited upgrade capabilities, you're not limited to THEIR hard drive!
All of this is available on the original models of the Playstation 3. The slimline PS3 isn't as great as a 40 GB model for that matter. The slimline Playstation 3 can still go on the Internet, store multimedia on the HDD and all of those things except, install Linux and upgrade the HDD. Some games even freeze on the slimline model and overheat. The best Playstation 3 is the 60 GB model as it has PS2 backwards compatibility. A 40 GB PS3 is still 3 cuts above the slimline model.
The Xbox 360 has great games and online but, they make you pay for every single thing that comes out of their ass, the consoles break down purposely, overheating is still an issue, you have to pay for the online, no upgrade options whatsoever, you're stuck with THEIR hard drive! 3 makes: 20 GB, 60 GB, 120 GB and that's it! High Definition content takes up room! and also game installs do as well. 120 GB is not enough and you can't store anything on that HDD except for crap you have to pay for on Xbox marketplace. Streaming content is NOT good enough! No Internet browser at all! Total bummer! Taking on the world on one core and killing everything else on the other core
i would go for the ps3 for these reasons: It has built in wifi so you wouldn't need to connect it directly to an Ethernet cable if you have a wireless router. The PSN (playstation Network) is free to all playstation owners, and is great for online play. also the psn has the playstation store which is great for downloading free demos, videos, trailers, wallpapers and themes and psn games which only cost you little. Go and search more on the internet, many websites should have discounts in xmas time.
If you are an addict to Winning Eleven, you should go for PS3, it also can be a Blu-ray player, which cost a few hundred dollars, ps3 has got a right track on this fabulous function. And I agree with above, I've searched for a few websites which are having discounts to ps3 console, but the most attractive one is the lucky draw by dsstyles, they are launching it right now, seems so attractive, go www.dsstyles.com and see the details.
Customization at a new level? hmm.... Interesting. They make these visual mods available for the Playstation 3? Taking on the world on one core and killing everything else on the other core
go for 360 but just my opinion since i got tired of using the same controller for the last 3 generations.lol, but anyway if i had the choose i'd get both since kinda miss titles like ratchet and clank but prefer halo more
