Yes those teams were good, but the league was different then. The level of talent evolves over time. You can't really compare teams across different eras. The 72 Dolphins would not be 14-0 in today's league. Players are bigger, faster, stronger, and more talented.
Therefore, by default, the best team of all-time, is the best team right now. (or at least over the five years or so)
In summary, the best team ever is the 2007 Patriots.
