I just joined them so I could download their torrents. I really only did it for the coveted Turbo Grax -16/PC Engine CD's that are so hard to find. First it sounds silly to me to have to join a membership for torrents but I did it anyway. [ image disabled ] Well as soon as I join I get demoted and threatened to be banned. Jesus Christ !! I just joined. Yes I read there silly rules. Yes they are really big on seeding but I do that anyways. I have BitComet but the stupid asses want you to use Utorrent or Azureus . Well since Azureus has a menu interface like a control pannel on f-ing Star Trek I went & got Utorrent but apparently my upload (sharing ratio) with Utorrent doesn't meet what they require . Which is why I'm being threaten to be banned. Well shit !! I have my compter & firewall configed just right for Bitcomet to upload & download bigtime . I had to go through Hell to get it configed right for Bitcomet. Goddam I'm not going through it again with Utorrent just for one site !! [ image disabled ]
So now I'm forced to shut my firewall off just so I can meet THERE F-ING UPLOAD RATIO !! WHICH IS MORE BULLSHIT !! Well hell I was so mad I wanted to cancel my membership right there but get this you can't cancel your membership until you meet there stupid upload ratio !! What the Hell !! [ image disabled ] You can't even browse to see what they have without joining and come to find out there one of the most hacked sites on the web !! As for what they have besides Turbo Grax -16/PC Engine CD's they have nothing you can't get elsewhere(thats a probably why they don't let you see what they have ). Except I'll say this you can download every game for 1 console in 1 shot.

Private torrent trackers are really great. I especially liked demonoid. And for them to get upset about your ratio is perfectly normal and if anything I believe it is very important. It kinda forces the sharing side of communism in the torrent world. They make you upload in order to use their site, because if they didn't lots of people would just download the torrent and never seed.
As for your torrent applications. BIT COMMET IS GOD AWFUL. And it puts spyware in your machine. I've always been very greatful of your massive amount of great uploads, and could never come to touch the ammount of rare finds you have, but you're quite a newbie in the world of torrents. I don't know what firewall you use, but if you're using any semi decent firewall, it shouldnt be too hard to configure. Hell, most would just have some sort of dialog window asking if you want to allow connections from that program. If by firewall, you mean router firewall and port forwarding, thats really simple, once you get the hang of it. Portforward.com is great for that.
I mean no disrespect by this at all, and am in awe at the your contributions to the piracy community, but I must say, if it wasn't for your incredible reputation, i'd think you're just another hit-and-runner (someone who downloads without uploading) who think's he's entitled to uploadless downloading (they usually say they upload, because they think itll make people help more.)
Also, they don't like people using Bit Commet because it sends data back to the torrent tracker improperly, so they can cheat the upload ratio system (although there are plenty other ways that i know, but wouldnt use).
Heck, just based on what you've said, I'm gonna go check them out, because they sound pretty good. Private tracking is the future. Public tracking used to be fine until more and more greedy noobs discovered they could just download and not seed. Fortunately, theyre really stupid, and don't realize that, with uTorrent, they can limit their upload speed while downloading as well.
Really, that site sounds great, you just need to adjust to private torrent tracking, its a great system. One of the best was demonoid. They were awesome.

Heres why : I have uploaded tons of games to this very site. Which shows I do share & I got most of it either through public torrents or via file sharing sites like Megaupload & Rapidshare or the tons of ISO & ROM sites.

BitComet is the fastest free torrent program for downloading and does not put spyware on your computer. I know cause I have 5 security programs. Your right it doesn't upload as well as Utorrent but I have my computer set just right for BitComet do get great upload speeds. It was a pain to config my computer for BitComet for great upload speeds but I succeeded. I am definitely not a noob for torrents. It has been a pain to config my computer for torrents for this very reason I have 5 security programs.

Utorrent is great for uploading but slower than a turtle when it comes to downloading. You see I do enjoy sharing when I have peers but I also don't like waiting 10 yrs for my download to get finished just so I can wait 20 yrs to get done finishing uploading to my peers.Which is why Utorrent sucks.

Private tracking in the beginning was to make people share but now Private tracking sites have become snotty nerds that cut you loose if they don't like you for something silly like your name. They force you to register to download torrents or even see what they have. I have seen Demonoid and they are just as pathetic as UnderGround Gamer. They have nothing that I can't get elsewhere.

say, I'm really noobs with this torrent stuff. So koolkat, do you mind giving me some tuts regarding the best torrent that i should use? I use Utorrent currently and it appears that i have a slow download. Do you think I'll have a more download speed by using BitComet?
