I prefer cats, as I really like it when they cuddle up beside me when I sleep. Their motor-like purring is enough to hypnotize you to a deep slumber.
But dogs are nice to have to especially when Im feeling active. Run around, play toss and catch.

Smartest rodent in the world, just as cute as Mice (the ones you see on TV are street rats, the kind in pet stores are adorable, just don't get the ones with red eyes...unless you like that sort of thing). They're really cool because they're so smart and big enough to kind of cuddle. You could squish a mouse in one hand.
