 Dogs here... have alwqays had at least 3 and from what I've experienced cats are too spoiled and tempermental... how about you guys?

 I have one dog (Siberian Husky - out door) and two cats.

The pets that I have always wanted to have are a Parrot or a Macaw (I think that's how you spell it) and Oscars (they're a type of fish that rank right up there with Piranhas).

 yes but I think anything that could easily kill you is not a very realistic choice for a pet
