I dual boot Win XP and Ubuntu 7.10 and use the former for gaming and the latter for everything else..

I am using Windows XP Service Pack 2. It's pretty cool. I've been using it for years and don't get a lot of problems with it. I am planning to install the new Mac OS on my PC.
Is it possible to install Mac OS on a PC?? I want to try it out before deciding to jump onto the Mac bandwagon...
I'm using winlsd 3.5 now. It's win xp sp2 hacked by linux, it's optimized at max! They removed lot of windows stuff that are no-use, and added programs with cracks like nero 6.6 on the cd. Win xp uses over 200 mb of ram, but winlsd needs only 56! It's really more stable, and i don't think there's something better. You can find the iso with a torrent, but i don't know if you can find it in english
Windows xp sp3- yeah I found sp3 leaked and suprisingly it increased performance noticably. With sp3 you can actually comfortably run it on 266mhz cpu w/ 64MB of RAM... I installed on old Toshiba laptop w/ those specs and it is actually fast!
Windows xp pro x64- If you have a decent 64-bit cpu (preferably AMD because Intel's 64-bit cpu's are still not quite done right) You will literally get twice the performance in exchange for a little less compatability
Windows Vista Home premium- If your computer is a monster it runs good but compatability isn't great yet. However, I suspect compatability will do a see-saw effect between xp and vista in the next year or so...
Windows Vista Ultimate x64- I run my main machine off this and I love it! Not very compatable but it is great for gaming. It runs faster than regular 32-bit by far it seems...
Linux- I have several custom Linux builds (One successfully runs Direct x 9.0L!!!!, which is the coming DX for xp which is basically like DX10) I love Linux, it's faster than anything else but some people will tell you it's bad for newbies but I started on Linux way back in the day and I actually recommend it to newbies
OSX- It has never crashed on me... not even once! So if maybe you run dual-desktop stuff for live events, it's the only way to go. I actually got it to run on one of my PC's! and it's even AMD at that! don't believe me? Google it and see if you don't find a half-million tutorials on how...
So All Operating systems have ups and downs and it just depends on what you want or need... I like them all. And sure, they all have cons but if you're not a complete idiot you know you can usually mod lots of things away... Peace
window xp. not planning to upgrage to vista anytime soon until i had a decent GOOD pc that met all the requirements and probide smooth game play wif vista XD
Currently using Vista... errr but don't like it... There are lot of application that is not compatible with Vista... Nice GUI and security... XP is d best for me ...
Haven't tried other OS...
I'm using Microsoft Virtual PC to try other OS...^^ Whats the best OS for you(all)?...^^
Dual OS: XP sp2 + Ubuntu 7.10 Linux is good in term of security but quite suck in term of software availability (no Adobe CS linus ver. so far i think) XP...more user friendly but very vulnerable
