Hey all,

I'm having trouble getting my Chankast working correctly. I have tried about everything I can think of and its still being glitchy. The games will load/run but videos, picture images, and text does not show up at all. The only thing that shows up when I run it is the 3D graphical renders. And the renders are not normal either. They are almost wireframe renders, except the "wires" are connected with planes.

I captured a video of me running it. Its youtube quality so you cant really read any of the text really... But you can get the jist of the problem. In the video I tried using Chankast and nullDC. (Btw, I know its not a problem with the game itself. I've tried two different games and both do the same thing. Also, the Dreamcast system menu that you get when you boot it with no "disc" in the "tray" is the same way. No text/images but 3D renders are there.)

Btw, the fact that it looks like my computer is running real slow is due to the fact that the capture software that I used to make the video was only capturing at a rate of 2 fps or something like that... It runs smoothly on my computer (as in my computer is more than fast enough to handle it).

EDIT:

Heres a picture of what shows up when I run it in nullDC:

This for Chankast:
#1 First make sure you have both dc_bios & dc_flash.

#2 Click Options then go to Configure Video. If you have "Wireframe" checked off then un-check it.
"Wireframe" does not need to be checked.

#3 I want you to check off "Use ZWrite" & "Use AlphaTest ZWrite".

#4 If it still dosen't work then you have a 32-bit Windows Computer . You need a 64-bit
Windows Computer and a really good video card to play Dreamcast Emulators.

With the nullDC you probably don't have your DC FLASH & DC BIOS config right
Also if you further read the forum here you would see Sonic ADV. 2 isn't
100 % on either emulators.
