I have downloaded the Action Replay for gamecube from this site. I extract the .rar file then I burn in it using Alcohol %120. I put it in my wii ... it shows a gamecube game has inserted, Press A buttom to play, then I always get a message at the start which says "An error has occurred, Please press the eject button and turn off the power and check the wii manual....." I burn the disc with Maximum speed, 4.0x and 2.0x ! and I am using a DVD. I also have tried to burn it on a CD-R, but it says "Disc cannot be read" I like you people
typically that's the result of a bad media, or scratched disks. what dvd media are you using? unfortunatly, it can also mean you're wii modchip is frying. try running a few regular burnt wii games, see if it can regonize them and play them without that error. if so, and you are using the same dvd media as the action replay, then try burning a regular GCN game. if that works, thenapparently the burner screwed it up.
if all else fails, try using IMGBurn. i use that for all my wii and gcn isos, veyr very very rarely get problems.
Hello Xuphor, I am using Datalife DVD which is 4.7gb, 8x speed and ISO 9001. I burned a Wii game and it worked fine. I burned another Gamecube game and it worked fine too. The problem is only with the Action Replay I downloaded from this site. I didn't get a downloadable Action Replay somewhere else. Could you please try to download it and tell me if its worked for you or not? I think the uploaded Action Replay is a corrupted one! I like you people
That's because the Action Replay still needs the Dongle Card in order for it to work! I should know. I use to own one!

@warlock - a regular memory card workds fine. when it asks for a dongle, put in a memory card, push A. it'll create a save file for it. i have a MadCatz 4X memory card just for action replay, and Animal Crossing. (the space AR uses for it's "dongle" save file is HUGE)
@3abad - yes, i use it all the time, it works fine. try burning it with IMGBurn at 8X setting, on Wal-Mart Memorex 16X DVD-R's they literally are the cheapest you can buy, at $10 for a 5 pack. (what i use all the time for both wii and gcn isos too )
BTW - i heard that some wii modchips have problems regonizing and reading disk swapping games, like Tales of Symphonia and Action Replay's (which i know isn't a game, per se, but you still have to swap disks). which modchip are you using?
EDIT: @ warlock - i did some more searching. it seems that the official version does indeed require a dongle. but the cracked version (which we have here) doesn't. http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3585133/Action_Replay_V1.14B_PAL_NGC-RARE read that nfo file, it makes it make more sense
I don't know what modchip I am using. I took my Wii to a store and I told the guy to insert a modchip, he took my Wii for 2 days. I asked him what kind of modchip are you going to insert, he said "I don't know, I am going to send it to a technical. I don't know anything about modchips". It works fine with the games I am downloading from Torrent. by the way, I bought that DVD-R you told me about Xuphor, I burn it with IMGburn. first time I burn it 8x and it says Wii cannot read the disc. Second time 4x and it read the disc but the wii shut off after pressing START. Third time 1x and it says Wii unable to read the disc, check the wii operations manual... What a waste of DVDs and time :S .... any idea please ? I like you people
err, return the wii to the dude who put in the modchip, say it's fucked up, and ask for a modchip that works with multi-disk swapping games, or ask them to remove it.
you did exactly what i did, and it's not working. it MUST be your modchip. since he claimed to not know, he/technical guy probly put in the crap-ass $5-10 kind, and let me guess, charged you like $50. buy a good $30 wii modcjip, i recomend WiiKey Official Hologram or Cyclowiz, both are excellent.
if the guy refuses to install one of those, or gives that bull-crap excuse of not knowing (seriously, a seller who doesn't know what he's selling? something's fishy), find a irl friend who can solder it in.
huh... I wish I paid $50, I paid $95 .I don't know what I should do. I am thinking to buy the Action Replay legally from the stores this time . I bought the modchip 2 weeks ago and I am going to think what to tell that Fxxxing seller. anyway, Thanks a lot Xuphor. you really helped I like you people

well, if the ONLY multi-disk-swapping game you'll ever want to do it action replay.... then yea, go head and buy it for $20 (MSRB of it nowadays). if you'll want other GCN or WII multi-disk games, then it'll probly be cheaper to buy a Wiikey Official Hologram ($30-$35), and getting a irl friend to solder it in for you.
