does anyone know what is the requirements in running a PS2 and GameCube emulator smoothly?

First of al, change the size of your avatar down to about a 150 x 150 pixels before the admins remove it for you.
Second, you need a really good computer to run the gamecube emulators (none of which are at 100%) and a really, really, really, really, really good computer in order to run and PS2 emulators (none of which are at 100% either)!

I don't know for sure about the gamecube, but to run a PS2 emulator a 5Ghz machine is recommended. Pcsx2 still has a few bugs but if you have fast machine (Minimum of a 2Ghz dual-core and no less than an 8500 Nvidia or 2400 ATI series card) You can play through most PS2 games pretty smoothly. There are bugs every now and then but every game I've tried so far has played more or less flawlessly.
