ePSXe won't read images or PSX discs. I have all the plug-ins, have tried re-installing, have all the necessary files, but every time I try to play an ISO/disc/any file that works for it, it will crash and say "ePSXe has stopped working, checking solution to problem... A problem has stopped ePSXe from working correctly." I have Vista and ePSXe 1.7 worked a couple days ago. I downloaded it again and it still says the same thing.

This is the right section for this right? It seemed like the most fitting.

i believe this is the wrong section for this(emulator help more appropriate i think), i am assuming you have bios and all the drivers are configured maybe you should try a older version of epsxe to see if it works and if that fails reconfigure your settings to default on current epsxe.

I didn't see that section, I even looked specifically for it. But I found it. Sorry!

I tried both of those things, and it still didn't work. I think it may be Vista's security. (Don't know why.) Something must've been changed.

vista would prompt you with a problem(i think) but try windows restore to a time when it did work and you may be able to use it again or redownload all drivers and epsxe and start from scratch.

I had the same problem not to long ago. I was useing v1.6 and it crashed on me in the middle of my game. I just tweaked the settings a bit so i thought it was that. When i changed them back i got nothing just like you. Couldn't run anything. I had to redownload my bios and plugins but that was it. Have you tried using delta to help figure out what the issue is?
