Well I have my ports set up just fine with Bitcomet . I get high download speeds with Bitcomet. The only problem is not all sites support Bitcomet. So I also have Utorrent because it has more support because it's better for uploading.
Bittorrent I like cause it's simple but it's too slow and doesn't have the extras like Bitcomet & Utorrent.
Definitely like Xuphor said, it you don't configure it right with your ports than you won't get the speed that the client is capable of. It's a very low memory client and doesn't have a flashy GUI like some other clients, but it gets the job done. I didn't have to configure mine, but I've already had the required ports open for other reasons.
Azureus sucks ! First it's slow & it's more complicated to figure out than a Star Trek control panel !

I've tried bitcomet and Azureus but I find that I have the highest DL speeds with Utorrent. That and its a low memory draw meaning no problem when I play games while it runs unlike Azureus. My Dl speeds with the same torrent fot the three where Bitcomet 500kbs Azureus 550kbs Utorrent 1.2 mbps. Although I might have had the settings a bit off for bitcomet and Azureus I still like Utorrent over them.
