I think the files you get from here are in .ISO format

At anyrate, yes you can play PSX games on your PSP provided you convert it to the right format.
From the .ISO format you would have to convert it to an EBOOT

I haven't done that in a long time, so sorry I can't provide you the details on how to go about doing that

Ok did a little bit of research and it seems you can download this program to convert your .ISO to the .EBOOT format.

ReadMe / Instructions included with the download so I suggest you read that if you don't know how to use the program.

Correction you mean PSX ISO's not Roms.

Anyway the answer to your question is yes but you have to convert them.
Don't ask me how because I rather use the PocketStation.

You can try to convert them to PSP or you can just buy a PocketStation.
If your lucky to find one for sale.

i mini console made by sony .. but i heared they were only released in japan so I doubt it would be an easy find... im not sure if it can play all playstation games anyway
