I recently got Chrono Chross for the playstation emulator, I use ePSXe. I figured out how to unzip it on my own which I wasn't used to doing with a single CD that has multiple parts and got it to start...
The problem is that when I click the new game option I get asked for vibrations on or off and whichever one i click the screen goes black and stays that way.

I'm not sure what version I am using. It's been several months since i downloaded it (don't remember where from), I have never had this problem before though , I even tried downloading the ISO from a different website and it still comes up with the exact same problem, I get past the vibration option and it goes black and stays black... I tried to redownload a new version from both this website as well as emulator zone and each time i try to start up the emulator from either of those downloads it says a file is missing and reinstalling it could fiz the problem... I can't reinstall it since it doesn't require installation in the first place. I have no idea what to do and i'm going crazy trying to fix it. You can't live without this legendary one of a kind artifact... I HAVE THREE MYSELF!!
i might help you but apparently i foprgotten what video settings and emulator version i used. you might try searching up and posting on other forums for help. i used to have ur problems but i manage to solve it. thats like a year ago.. couldnt remember already
Um dude, regarding your problem, I'm having the same dilemma too. It appears that Chrono cross won't work for ePSXe version 1.6.0 (It's a common problem for CC gamers who want them played on emulator) Um some guys told me to use another version of ePSXe (probably 1.7.0 or 1.5.2? that's as far as I can remember) Why don't you give it a shot?
