i've downloaded silent hill from this site (its for psx) and its format is an mds/mdf format.. how can i possibly convert it to bin or iso so that i could play it on my psx emu? please help anyone!

You need to mount it with Daemon Tools to play MDF/MDS ISO's on ePSXe.

I will convert it to Bin/Cue & re-upload the game later.

Here's what you do if you want to convert the file.
Download Alcohol 120%
Open the Image and place it on the virtual drive in Alcohol
Then use the image maker to copy it into CCD format.
Then there you go. You can play it on an emulator.
You can do the above with any game in MDS/MDF format.
Seeing as koolkat already did it for you, you don't need to.

hey can you convert Digimon World for me? Because I tried what you told me and I couldn't convert it because it wouldn't let me put it on the virtual drive. It's a MDF file.

Daemon Tools does not convert MDF/MDS ISO'S. It is a tool to trick your emulator into thinking it is a real CD game.

Here are instructions for Daemon Tools:

#1 Right click on Daemon Tools icon on your quick launch bat.

#2 Then select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM

#3 Then select Device 0:[F:] No media.

#4 Mount image. Browse for you MDF/MDS ISO & open.

%5 Then your Auto-menu will open. Close this out.

#6 Now run ePSXe & then click File (on ePSXe). Then click Run CD-ROM.

#7 Now play your game and don't forget to unmount the ISO when your done playing the game.

To convert is a little more complicated . I use UltraISO for that.
