i agree that they can be annoying sometimes. however when i have nothing much to do i still sort of enjoy whacking mercilessly those monsters. haha. albrecht1898
Yes, random battles are annoying. For example, you are trying to get out of a maze and yet they keep coming, that probably would irritate most impatient people out there.
But they are there for a purpose. Like what previous posts mentioned, for training and relieving stress. For me, I enjoy random battles to max out my characters.
Its fun having random battles, sometimes it stressed me out, but then you get a good number of exp, also for fviii the gf diablos has an ability that reduces the encounter rate to 0.
