To anyone thats a fan of the Zelda series. I being one: I came across a really well done Legend of Zelda 1 mod for the NES. It's called The Legend of Zelda - Outlands by Clomax Dominion. It's a whole new game with a completely new map and dungeons and is very well done. It even has some SNES graphic images input into the game giving it an almost 16bit look. I enjoyed it very much since the original Zelda happens to be my favorite, however, I've completed it way to many times. So anyone that's the same way should look into it.
I realize how bad it is to boast about some obscure hacked rom and not offering a download location. Unfortunately, I don't have one. I got my copy compiled in a huge 1000+ rom package that I happened to copy from a friends hard drive and not even download. Anyone that can find or know a link for it should post it. It's a good one for sure.
My favorite of all time would have to be bionic commando. I find it very challenging because you can't jump you have to use a grapple hook and swing from place to place.
Best games are: zombies ate my neighbours, streets of rage 2, mortal kombat II, Castlevania Aria of Sorrows, donkey kong, punch-out!!, and castlevania 3: dracula's curse
If i have to say, mine is azure dreams, eternal eyes, saiyuki:journey to the west, brigandine. Just any kinds of RPG that has to do with customizing your character to make it stronger.
From the NES i love: Castlevania,Double Dragon,faxanadu,Uninvited,Shadow Gate,De Ja Vu, Mario, Kung Fu, Yiear Kung Fu, Ghosts and Gobblins and my all time favorite is Zelda.
