I've been a firefox enthusiast for quite a while, but since I've updated to the latest release, I've been crashing quite frequently. And as always, I haven't been happy with the amount of memory firefox requires, but due to the awesomeness of the browser, I simply dealed.
However, yesterday I decided to try the new google browser, chrome, and I must say, I'm quite pleased. It seems to be quite basic at this stage (which IMO, isn't really a bad thing, I like minimalist browsers), but it's very snappy and responsive, and the simpler functions are very intuitive.
Anyone one else tried out chrome? All feedback is greatly appreciated.
Firefox has become problematic for me since I run it on my fairly old computers (laptop and desktop). I find Chrome pretty impressive. Haven't had any problem with it so far. I use Firefox for normal browsing and use Chrome for heavy duty work that requires lot of memory usage.

He could either try that or switch back to FF 3.0.x (which is now 15). That's what I'm using. FF 3.5.x gave me issues with a lot of web sites.
