Yeah, the world's coming to an end I actually have a dilemma in the love department. There's this woman at my job that likes me to no end. The flirting, the questions, etc.... I'm not a trusting person as you all may know. I don't like making mistakes, especially if the person in question works at the same place as you do, as you can see. Her name is Jennifer and if you're wondering she's beautiful, nice personality, etc... I like her but didn't expect all of this. What should I do? They always say that it's not recommended not to date somebody that you work with because the majority of people don't know how to separate work from their relationship.
And like Aerris said, maybe those other people are telling you not to because they want a piece of the action for themselves.
Aggressive women are the best! They know what they want and they know how to get it (wish my woman was like that - I've dated one like that before and let me tell you, it's something that you'll never forget).
How to proceed - When ever she asks you question, ask her the same ones back. Eventually in a conversation or two, ask her out. What's the worse that could happen? She tells you no? Oh well, move on. No love lost.
The chance of failure is 50/50. It's either a yes or a no but if you yourself think that you have an actual shot with her, the chance of failure goes down dramatically. It goes down even more if she's showing an interest in you.
And what's everybody going to find out about? That you asked her out and she said. Oh well. Tell them to f-off if it turns into an issue. If she says yes and they make an issue out of it, then they're jealous and they can still f-off.
You think that she's popular because she's all that but being all that isn't what it's cracked up to be. Hell, she might just be looking for someone like you! You'll never know unless you take that chance.

I did a little digging around and let's just say, that I was lied to! Jennifer already has a man but he's in jail for some crap (what for? it's none of my business) I can't believe this crap but whatever no harm done. Everyone was talking about this when I reported for work yesterday so that's how I know I guess. Everyone at my job knows all about her. Sorry to trouble everyone over a false alarm.
