X - all time fave...probably the most dramatic show I've ever seen...followed closely by... RahXephon - this is what I would have liked Neon Genesis Evangelion to be like but alas...no such luck... Beserk - a tale of sorrow....get the manga aswell...awesomeness to the extreme...and ofcourse you get to see just how Guts escapes the Eclipse ceremony in the manga! Hellsing - an awesome series...although the animatoin style took a few episodes fer me to get used to...interesting storyline Hellsing Ultimate! - 2005 release of the Hellsing series...tells the entire story as it was in the manga originally...the first series missed a few bits...the animation style is extremely manga-ish...good stuff! Sonic X - ofcourse this would be on the list...me being Sonic mad and all! A pity the story was so repetitive Vampire Hunter D - vampires killing vampires...good stuff...done in 'Ye Olde Animation' style. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - even better than the original...crisper, cleaner animation and some CG thrown in for good measure MegaMan - although not an anime it is still based on a japanese character...pity they messed up the characters in the show

I personally thought Rahxephon coulda been much better, left me with more questions than answers. I think they got too involved with connecting the characters than the setting and plot and etc.
There are so many to choose from I don't think I could choose an all time favorite. Here are some I really enjoy though:

I agree with most of your opinions, I personally, am fond of any anime made by Miyazaki, he is in my opinion, the best Anime creator in the world. I can't wait for his next anime to come out, he is almost done making it, but he still won't release the name, which is fine by me considering the fact that the suspense will make the anime all the better.
