Well good mate of mine got PSP 2004, its quite old and he is 100% certain that the original version was below 4.00 and current firmware is 6.00. Can any1 link me a good guide for downgrading it or something? I already googled it for few times but nothing useful came out. There were few good vids on yt but links for Magic Stick installing program were either down or there were none.

i'm not up to date as much but i'm pretty sure that when FW 4.00 was out so were the v3 MOBO's, anyway the easiest thing is Rain's ultra lite MMS maker, i've never used it but supposedly you don't need a hacked PSP. just that program & a pandora's battery
