The irc client I use is called mIRC. I will outline how one goes about getting it downloaded and installed:
1. Go to mIRC 2. Along the side bar there is a link that says download mIRC, click that link 3. You will now see a list of mirrors that you can download mIRC. Find the mirror closest to you and click on it. Then save to disk(make sure that you save it in a place that you know were to find it). 4. Click on the mIRC file where you had downloaded it to, follow the installation instructions. 5. Once you enter mIRC you need to go to Tools>Options(or Alt + O) 6. You need to set up your nickname now if you havent durning the instalation. click on the catetory Connect after you have gone into Options and make sure your nickname is correct. Now you want to add the server we will be chatting on. Click on the sub category Servers under Connect(make sure that the + sign by Connect is turned into a - sign )Now click the button Add. 7. A new window will pop up with a few boxes to enter stuff into. Under Description enter NDC Gaming. Under IRC Server enter irc.hashnet.org (Make sure your port is set to 6667) and click ok. 8. Now you want to connect to the server. Click on the button that says Connect To Server. It will open a window and wait for a bunch of text will scroll by then you are connected tot he server, now you want to enter the room that we are in. type in /join #NDCGaming and click enter( make sure it is typed in exactly like this "/join #NDCGaming)
And your ready to chat.

All hail Hiro, the helper of humanity. Thnks, n i was wonderin if u could do a tut on how to download warez from irc clients( ebooks for eg.) it would be a big help. I mentiond ebooks cuz i really need them.
wow i havent seen this reply, but there isnt much downloading off of IRC but you can sent files inbetween other people called DCC, and your fire wall hates them so its generally hard to get them to work hehe. But ya i would search for like a book club online and look to see if they have any IRC set up, and log on and beg for ebooks. One site that my English Prof told me about is called libravox.org which is chalk full of all sorts of ebooks, ive used them a few times for "the strange case of dr. jekyll and mr. hyde" and "the turn of the screw". The site is completely free and requires no sort of log in at all, there great. Sorry for not replying for about a month Excuse me, is your refrigerator running? and id like to know how to burn some psx iso,because i cant with some games that dont have cue file,some cant find the bin file even if its there,or there are other types of file i dont know
